'We have used Four Feet Retreat since moving to Lincoln 7 years ago, both for our previous cat and now our present cat Flix. Both animals have always been well looked after and love the heat mats provided, in fact our cat insisted we buy her one of her own!
Karen obviously loves the cats and cares for them as if they were her own and gives excellent value for money.
As long as we have cats they will take their holidays at Four Feet Retreat

I wouldn't leave my 2 little treasures, Frank & Lola, anywhere else. They settle in immediately and sometimes don't want to come home. But what makes it for me is that Karen is more interested in the welfare of the cats than the money, unlike other Catteries.Frances Rackham

Greenday has been going on his holidays to Four Feet Retreat for over 2 years now. Aunty Karen always welcomes him and is patient with him as he is very nervous. Greenday has always been very well looked after and Karen always reassures us when we phone to check on him. Always happy to accommodate Rav's needs. He loves the heat pads! Well looked after and Karen obviously dedicated in her passion for looking after the pets in her care. Don't know how she does it with 'all the rescue work as well. A caring person with a well run establishment.Mrs McMurray-Herbert

'Highly Recommended' My cat Missy has stayed many times at Four Feet Retreat, and is always very well looked after during her stay. Karen doesn't mind if you ring or text her while you are away to see how Missy is. Also, once back home no problems, settles straight back in as if she was never away.Mrs Whitaker

'Our 14 year old cat has just developed Diabetes. This was quite a shock to us both as we had no idea how we would be able to cope with this. We thought that we would never be able to go on holiday again or leave him for short breaks, but we then discovered Karen's Cattery on the internet. What a blessing this has been.
Karen is able to give Mortimer his 2 injections of insulin a day. He is happy for her to do this and for her to look after him. When he comes back home we have no problems with him and we would recommend Karen and her Cattery to anyone who has a Diabetic or special needs cat.>br />
Mortimer has now gone into 'remission' but we know that his Diabetes could return at any time, and it is so comforting to know that when we go on holiday we can leave him with Karen and know that if he does have any problems she will be able to deal with himMr & Mrs Connolly

We have now boarded our cat Oscar 3 times at Four Feet Retreat. I have to admit that I was very apprehensive about boarding him as he had been mistreated by his previous owners, and we were unsure how he would react to being left. However, I knew when I met Karen that she was a cat loving person, very professional and flexable with arrangements for dropping off and picking him up. Each time we pick him up we know that he has received excellent care as he is stress free and a loving cat on our return homeS.Hurrey

Best Cattery I have ever used !!
A home away from home for my cat and she never comes back stressed like she has at other Catteries. Karen is amazing and its like the cat has a 2nd mum when she's there. I never worry when Barley is at Karen's. I always reccomend her and won't take my cat anywhere else.A.Tavener

We got to know about the Four Feet Retreat cattery while at the vet’s. Our cat Fion is quite old now and has diabetes and it was our vet who recommended Karen’s cattery to us.
We have to give him injections twice a day and there are very few people willing to take on this kind of responsibility so we were unable to go away. Thankfully Karen is skilled at doing this and we are very grateful for her efficiency and competence. We now have few concerns at leaving him as we know that he is in good hands in her care. Her kindness and love for cats is obvious and she taking in rescue cats, , as well as boarding cats for their owners. She has always been really helpful and reassuring and we would have no reservations in recommending the Four Feet Retreat to anyone looking for a reliable cattery.

Four Feet Retreat is cat’s heaven and Karen is a second ‘Mum’ to my two. They do not want to go home. In addition to their contentment, I myself am reassured that Karen, with her rescue experience, will be able to deal competently with whatever arises.

'I have been
using Four Feet Retreat Cattery for over a year and am more than happy
with the way my cat is looked after. My cat (Domino) is diabetic and
has to have insulin injections twice a day, plus tablets daily and
Karen is more than happy to do that for me, so I can go away happy
knowing that he will be looked after. A lot of catteries wouldn't
do that, as I found out when I rang them. Karen's cattery is very clean
and well equipped and Karen is a very caring person. Domino always
comes back home looking very healthy and is diappointed to find he
hasn't got his favourite heat pad when he gets back! I will carry on

'Karen
has looked after my cat on many occasions including the infamous 'ex
partner ditches the cat at the cattery and vanishes' incident. The heat
mat alone means that my cat has to be prised away from the cattery when
I turn up to collect her. Always well looked after and content after
staying at the Four Feet Retreat, my cat will never holiday anywhere
else.
Karen is a helpful
